I\u2019ve never been a fan of writing in my books. I label them in pencil and don\u2019t write notes in the margins. So it\u2019s somewhat odd that I decided to try a journaling Bible, eh? <\/span><\/p>\n

At first I could hardly bring myself to write in it. What if I\u2019d want the space later for something else? What if someone else read it? What if I messed up and made irreparable marks in it? Finally, I forced myself to just start writing, and I have to tell you, I love it. <\/span><\/p>\n

In case you haven\u2019t heard of \u00a0journaling Bibles, it\u2019s a regular Bible with wide lined margins for leaving notes. There is plenty of room for regular note taking, or for doodles and sketches and the mini sermons that come to your mind in the middle of church. Oh wait, is that just me? <\/span><\/p>\n

If you are the kind of person who likes to process through writing, or who can concentrate better when you are doing something on paper, this is the perfect thing for you.<\/span><\/p>\n

Amazon has a quite a few available, from this affordable and simple hardcover<\/a> one, to a variety of floral options like this one<\/a>,\u00a0to this gorgeous leather volume<\/a> I’ll just dream about.<\/p>\n
